Our client is looking to hire! Join a global leader in digital construction, a prominent force in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem, known for their expertise in ERP solution development and implementation. They are seeking a Head of Development to lead and grow their development team, enhance processes, and drive innovation forward. If you’re passionate about software development, team leadership, and process improvement, this is the ideal role for you!
Your profile:
- Over 10 years of programming experience, with some background in team leadership and management.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior developers and business partners.
- Recent hands-on development experience.
- Knowledge of development methodologies and process optimization.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely, with flexibility to travel to the office in Freiburg or other company locations as needed.
- Fluent in German (required); proficiency in English is a plus.
Your Responsibilities:
- Transition into a leadership role while maintaining hands-on development involvement.
- Lead a team of senior developers (5-15 years of experience).
- Oversee the creation of in-house applications and manage low-level product development.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to ensure development aligns with business objectives.
- Enhance and standardize development and release management processes.
- Optimize workflows, using approaches similar to a Kanban system, to boost efficiency.
- Expand the team through recruitment and mentorship of new developers.
- Offer technical leadership, architectural direction, and maintain high-quality standards.
