We are searching for Senior JavaScript Engineer for one of Germany’s most popular online brands.

As part of one of a cross-functional engineering team, you will play a central role in driving innovation for new features. Build new features using state-of-the-art frontend technologies, help create the next generation of well established features that our customers love, and work with frontend developers from other teams on enhancing the UI component library.

You will:

• Develop new features together with your engineering team
• Contribute to the architectural decisions 
• Define requirements for features built by you and your team
• Own the development process from initial prototype feedback, to implementation decisions, to deployment
• Help drive the transition to micro-frontend architecture
• Share your knowledge inside your team and across the whole engineering organization

Job requirements

You 

• Are experienced in working with one page applications based on Javascript (4+ years) and React (2-3 years)
• Are experienced with JWT, Redux, ECMAScript 6+, Node.js, npm
• Have a good understanding of REST APIs
• Have a strong feeling for usability of interfaces’
• Are proficient in modern HTML5, CSS
• Are a team player and a good communicator
